Dr. Washington is a New Orleans native. She attended St. Mary’s Dominical High School and received a Bachelor of Science from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2009. She completed medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee Georgia in 2017. Dr. Washington then completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Medical City Fort Worth in 2020.
Dr. Washington is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician with a special interest in preventative medicine. She enjoys creating healthy cajun recipes and long lasting relationships with her patient’s. She is excited to be home and serve her community.

Dr. Ahmed is a dually board-certified Family and Internal Medicine physician. Dr. Ahmed is originally from Pakistan and grew up in Houston, Texas. He completed his residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School located in Norfolk, VA. He has a special interest in geriatrics as evidenced by his QI project in residency which “Aiming to improve resident doctors understanding of community resources for geriatric patients”. He is loved by his patients and colleagues alike for his genuine spirit and dedication to quality care of his patient’s.
Dr. Ahmed also enjoys the culture of New Orleans and has made the city his home away from home. He is on the board of directors for the “The NOLA Project”, which is a Non-profit organization that helps promote arts & culture. Dr. Ahmed is excited and humbled to serve the medical community of this great city.

Shelita Carr, FNP is actively practicing APRN, for the last seven years. Her area of expertise is primarily hospital medicine, which encompasses all phases of care (medical surgical, telemetry, observation, and some intensive care). She also practices outpatient family medicine. She is a mother of five adult children and four adult stepchildren.
She initially started my very novel career as a medical assistant in 1993. Then continued on as a licensed practical nurse in 1996, followed by receiving an associate degree as a registered nurse in 2002. In 2011, she obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, then subsequently decided to enter into an APRN.
Shelita Carr, FNP APRN is also the author of Practice Perils, which is a novel filled with amazing guidance to those on their journey to become a nurse practitioner.
